Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Ontime is private by design. There’s no account, no tracking, and no server that collects your information. This policy explains exactly what the app touches.

The short version

What the app stores

Your content (plans, routines, steps, notes, run history, and settings) is created and stored on your device. Your completed-run history, what you planned versus how long each step actually took, is what powers the app’s learning and streaks.

iCloud backup & sync

If you are signed into iCloud on your device, Ontime backs up your run history to your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This means:

Ontime does not use a public/shared CloudKit database and does not share your data with other users.

Notifications

If you grant permission, Ontime schedules local notifications on your device for start reminders, step alarms, and check-ins. These are generated and delivered on-device; no notification content is sent to us. You can change or revoke notification permission anytime in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions & purchases

Ontime is free for the first 7 days after install. After that, continued use needs an auto-renewing subscription (Ontime Pro). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never see or store your payment details, and we operate no server that receives purchase information. Entitlement is verified on-device.

Data you choose to share

The optional “I’m running late” feature opens Apple’s standard share sheet with a message you can send. Ontime only pre-fills the text and your projected time; you choose whether, where, and to whom to send it. Nothing is sent automatically.

Your control & deletion

Because your data lives in your own device and iCloud, you stay in control:

Children

Ontime is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Since the app collects no personal data, none is gathered from anyone.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will appear here with a new “last updated” date.
